Researchers at Lund University are required to register their scholarly publications in the research information system LUCRIS. LUCRIS lanserades i april 2016 och ersatte bland annat LUP. Granskningsförfrandet i LUCRIS av forskningspublikationer skiljer sig från hur det ha fungerat i LUP, framförallt på grund av förändrade yttre krav , bland annat från SweP ub och Vetenskapsrådet och den framtagna praxis för granskning och validering av forskningsoutput i LUCRIS.
